IGNITION FRONT CHAPTERS

Ignition Front is the national mass organization and action-oriented arm of Youth Climate Finance Alliance, building democratically controlled, locally led chapters that build eco-socialist youth power to take on fossil imperialist villains. We’re creating honest, caring, strategic, and brave organizing spaces for young people within the imperial core to build organizational formations that have the power to win and halt the outgoing flow of arms, fuel, and capital to imperialism worldwide.

Each Ignition Front chapter is provided with substantial resources to ensure its success and sustainability, including personalized coaching, training in organizing fundamentals and direct action, specialized campaign materials, and a base level of funding. Ignition Front chapters inherit core analysis and role-based structure from YCFA, but chapters determine their local priorities, tactics, and decision-making structure.

Ignition Front’s first campaign is against a target that is everywhere — Citibank - the world’s largest backer of fossil fuel expansion, and the largest foreign bank in occupied Palestine. Local chapters focus on Recruitment Pipeline Disruption tactics targeting Citi’s ability to recruit youth talent on campuses throughout the country.
